Three of Hollywood and the music industry's biggest names are showing their support for breast cancer month as they pose for the October edition of Glamour magazine, according to LEX18 News.
Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys are gracing the cover to raise awareness for their upcoming short-films for a two-hour Lifetime Breast Cancer Awareness Month special.
Each woman directed their own short for the special and each showcases the affects breast cancer has on women, their relationships and their families. As the disease affects 1 in 8 women nationally, it truly touches everyone in some way, BreastCancer.org reports.
"Before this project came up, even I really didn't want to pay attention. I feel that this came to me to make me pay attention," Moore told the news outlet.
For Keys' short film, she chose to follow the life of one woman who's cancer forced her to reconnect with her mother.
"I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it," Keys told the news outlet. "I chose Lili because she's close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it."
