A new breast cancer charity, Brides at Work, is encouraging women to pull their wedding dress out of storage and wear it for a good cause, reports Marie Claire UK
In the UK, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a national charity, is teaming up with the National Wedding Show to help fight the battle against breast cancer.
"This is a chance to get that dress out again and relive the big day, for a great cause," Caryn Franklin, host of the National Wedding Show's bridal makeover show, told the news source.
They are asking brides, grooms, bridesmaids, ushers and mothers of the bride to don their fanciest wedding clothes to work for a day of fun and to raise money for breast cancer research. People can also get in on the action by donating their time and money.
Brides at Work is a unique opportunity for individuals to raise money for breast cancer research. Breakthrough Breast Cancer estimates that over 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast in the UK every year.
