Brinker, founder of Komen breast cancer group, promotes gift set

Nancy G. Brinker appeared on the HSN channel to promote a gift set called Promise Me, which is created by TPR Holdings, an organization which has pledged $1 million towards the fight against breast cancer.
Brinker is known for the being the founder of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, responsible for raising billions of dollars towards breast cancer research and awareness. Brinker promised her sister Susan that she would do everything in her power to stop the disease which took Susan's life.
The Promise Me gift set includes shower gel, body cream, a scented bracelet as well as eau de parfum. TPR Holdings is a New York-based company specializing in consumer products.
Breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer found in U.S., second to skin cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 200,000 women are newly diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the United States. Men are diagnosed at a rate of almost 2,000 new cases each year. Women should have yearly mammograms if they are over the age of 40.
