It's safe to say Christina Applegate's life is going fantastically at the moment. The beautiful actress, who recently starred in the romantic comedy Going the Distance, is engaged to boyfriend Martyn LeNoble, with whom she's expecting her first child in the fall.
However, it was only two years ago that the stunning starlet was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now 100 percent healthy, she is doing her part to continue the battle against the disease.
Applegate has teamed up with jewelry designer Alex Woo for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and has designed her own necklace. The pendant, which contains an image of trees and branches enclosed in a small circle, is meant to signify balance, peace, harmony and the curves of a woman, according to the news outlet.
"This piece reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital," said Christina. "I am so grateful to Alex for creating such a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women."
Applegate isn't the only celebrity to have fought a breast cancer battle and won. In fact, singer Sheryl Crow and actress Maura Tierney have both beat the disease.
