Those in the Boston, Massachusetts, area may want to splurge on a night out as a way to support breast cancer awareness
during the month of October, as the Copley Square Hotel announced promotions to support the cause throughout the month, The Boston Globe reports.
During October, the hotel is asking guests to donate $1.00 per night during their stay to the fight against breast cancer. The hotel will then make a 100 percent matching donation for every dollar donated to give to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
Reservations can be made online by using the promotional code BCA, or guests can give the $1.00 per night donation upon checking in.
Aside from the matching donation, the in-house restaurant XHALE will also be offering a specialized pink dessert during October - and all proceeds from the signature treat will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation as well.
To further signify its involvement in finding a cure, a pink flag will be outside the front of the hotel and front desk staff will wear pink scarves or ties all month long.
According to BreastCancer.org, 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Causes like those at the Copley Square Hotel can provide assistance for these women.
