Hamlin Fistula International provides care in Ethopia

The Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital and the Hamlin College of Midwives provide treatment to the most destitute women in Ethopia. Many come to the hospital with "horrific injuries" suffered following a stillbirth. For more than 50 years, Dr. Catherine Hamlin has provided care for those who have suffered fistula and worked to insure that all women can have a safe childbirth and successful delivery.

The 2011 documentary Lighting a Candle shows the compassionate dedication of the hospital's medical team, Dr. Catherine Hamlin, and the long term benefits for rural Ethiopian woman because of their work. supports the efforts of Hamlin Fistula International through the Gifts That Give More [tm] program.
