The band Chicago and the American Cancer Society (ACS) have paired up as part of the Sing With Chicago promotion, to help fans join the fight against breast cancer.
The American Cancer Society is offering ticket packages that include two premium tickets, backstage passes and the opportunity to sing Chicago's break-up anthem, If You Leave Me Now, onstage at the concert. Interested concert-goers can bid on the project, and the proceeds will benefit the ACS.
"We are so grateful to be working with Chicago and thrilled to give Chicago fans across the country such a fun and exciting opportunity to support the ACS and our work in breast cancer," said breast cancer survivor Terry Music, the chief mission delivery officer for the American Cancer Society.
Fans of the band, which made Billboard Magazine's list of the Top 100 Artists of All Time, are likely to be happy to hear that all of the original members will be performing on the tour.
Though heading to a concert is certainly an entertaining way to fight breast cancer, women can be proactive about their own health. The ACS recommends that women over 40 schedule annual mammograms.
