Neiman Marcus hosting fashion show to support breast cancer research

The Neiman Marcus department store at the King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, will he hosting a mother-daughter event featuring a fashion show with breast cancer survivors as models.
The event will honor those who have battled breast cancer, and will also be raising awareness and focusing on the work of the Philadelphia-based nonprofit BreastCancer.org.
The nonprofit is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, and the fashion show is the kickoff event that leads to the Rock the Ribbon concert which will be held in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Attendees of the fashion show will have the chance to enter a raffle to receive two premiere tickets to the concert which will feature Harry Connick Jr.
The fashion show event is open to the public free of charge. Cheerleaders from the Philadelphia Eagles will walk alongside the breast cancer survivors as they show off the latest fall fashion.
According to the American Cancer Society, the chance of a women developing breast cancer in her lifetime is 1 in 8.
