At the end of 2010, the Prosthetics Outreach Foundation made a site visit to The Justinian University Hospital in Cap Haitien. Working with the hospital and the University of Miami, the Foundation will establish a Rehabilitation Department.
Due to the earthquake iast yar, many Haitian children suffered injuries or infection so severe as to require amputation of a limb. With the help of POF, these children can now be fitted for prostheses.
