Everyone's favorite charm bracelet company, Pandora, is raising money and showing its support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, for the third consecutive year, Look.Co.UK reports.
The latest Pink Ribbon
Collection offers jewelry enthusiasts a chance to embrace fashion and a good cause. This year's charms, or pendants are spheres covered in delicate pink ribbons - the symbol of breast cancer.
When people purchase pieces from the limited edition collection that are available in sterling silver or 14-carat gold, 15 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The organization raises funds to put toward new research and educating women on breast cancer.
Purchasing the pieces puts people in good company, as stars like breast cancer survivor Melissa Etheridge, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Kelly Brooks have all been seen wearing the pieces on their own bracelets, PandoraJewleryBlog.com reports.
According to BreastCancer.org, one in eight women will battle against the disease in her lifetime. Using fashion or celebrities to show support for those in the fight is crucial to prevention and finding a cure.
