It seems as though donating money to breast cancer awareness
and research has been top priority for all types of companies these past few years. Such is the case for Passion Parties, a business that organizes fun, exciting nights where women can let loose and purchase romance items.
The company has donated more than $40,000 to North American charities supporting a myriad of worthy causes, including breast cancer.
"Passion Parties' charitable donations are an extension of our commitment to improving the lives of women and their families," said Pat Davis, the president and chief executive officer of Passion Parties International. The foundation was established in January 2007 and is the company's way of giving back to their main demographic - women.
The money will help the local associations fund breast cancer screenings and support services for those afflicted with breast cancer.
According to the American Cancer Society, the first sign of breast cancer usually shows up on a woman's mammogram before it can be felt or any other symptoms are present. Self-examinations and screenings are essential for early detection.
