Radar tire company is doing its part to combat breast cancer as it recently launched its "Mobilizing Hope" campaign in the U.S.
Radar will be donating 25 cents for every radar tire sold, while also making a commitment to annually donate $250,000 to the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
This year, Radar has come up with a new product specifically created to push breast cancer awareness
into the spotlight. The company has taken its well known RPX900 tire and created a limited edition version that will have pink sidewalls, which will emphasize the symbolic color that represents the fight against breast cancer.
The RPX900 is a perfect tire to use in all seasons, on most model vehicles and is also an eco-friendly product. Each tire will run between $70 and $110 and the limited edition pink tires are expected to be available in the last quarter of 2011 at leading tire retail shops and on their website.
With an average of one in eight women in the U.S. predicted to be faced with breast cancer in their lifetime according to breastcancer.org, its never been a better time to show support and promote awareness to hopefully one day see a cure for this health issue that touches so many individuals.
