Rescue U heads to Pennsylvannia

Rescue U begins another building project in August!  Approximately twenty students from Delaware Valley College and Bucks County's high schools will help the Cameron County SPCA expand their shelter.

Due to a lack of space at the existing shelter, most animals stay at foster homes. As the only animal shelter in Cameron County, this local group often has far more requests for help than they have space at their current facility or available fosters.

Rescue U student volunteers will help them complete the construction of an expanded facility during the eight-day trip to Emporium, PA.

Under Rescue U supervision, the students will build additional kennels, an exercise pen, and help complete construction on the inside of the office, utility, and examination areas.

GreaterGood.org supports Rescue U through donations from the Gifts That Give More [tm] program at The Animal Rescue Site.
