It's safe to say Sheryl Crow's life is going incredibly well - aside from an immensely successful career, the woman is mom to adorable sons Wyatt, 3, and Levi, who is 4-months old.
However, it was only four years ago that the rock and folk singer was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now that she has beat the disease, the 48-year-old has opened the Sheryl Crow Imaging Center, which is set to be part of the Pink Lotus Breast Center, according to US Weekly.
"Joining forces with the Pink Lotus Breast Center has provided me with a wonderful platform to create awareness and encourage the millions of American women over 40 to get their annual mammogram," Crow said in a statement.
Crow discovered she had an early stage of breast cancer in 2006 after a routine mammogram. Soon after that, she underwent surgery and radiation, and is now proud to be cancer free.
According to its website, the Pink Lotus Breast Center is a state-of-the-art facility that is dedicated to the screening, prevention and treatment of the disease.
