Uninsured mother Ivon receives a free mammogram

Ivon and her sonIvon, a 29-year-old uninsured young mother, was worried about her health after finding a lump in her breast, but she could not afford the mammogram she needed. 

However, The Breast Cancer Connection in Palo Alto, California., was able to cover expenses for the medical tests which showed that she had breast cancer.

Having caught the cancer early, Ivon is now undergoing treatment. has paid for 450 free mammograms at BCC for women like Ivon. This funding, which is distributed through the National Breast Cancer Foundation, is made possible by the "Click Here To Give" program and other donations from The Breast Cancer Site.
